The Garden Gallery » Nancy Stamm

Skillful technique and beautifully painted images characterize Nancy's work. Her imaginative compositions continue to delight the public over the years. You recognize familiar objects - fruit, shells, personal objects, animals and country side, but the lighting and context make the images special. When you ask Nancy about her art, she is eager to tell you she feels so at peace with the accomplishments of her endeavors and is always eager to begin another painting. Being a dedicated artist in the area for over twenty-four years (she sold her first piece at the age of 16), she is famous for painting affectionate images that depict her life.

She is a graduate of the Minneapolis Art School where she majored in graphic art instruction and studied art while in Paris for a year in 1973. Nancy dedicates time to community projects, programs, and organizations as well. She has done public art projects for the Cumberland County Historical Society, St. Patrick’s Shrine Church, and the Carlisle Community Center.
